Drink Prices Munster Rugby. MRSC and Thomond Park Stadium Company approached the catering provider (Masterchefs Hospitality) in Thomond Park with a view to having the price of drinks reduced in line with the excise duty reduction in the budget. The following is the response from Masterchefs: While we continue to analyse the impact of the price decreases announced in Thursdays Budget we are working with our drinks partners to determine how best this can be passed on to the consumer. We hold significant stock in the stadium and have our bars completely stocked for the upcoming Heineken Cup Game against Perpignan as well as all upcoming events over the Christmas period. All this stock was purchased before the budget announcement at the old prices so therefore we cannot pass on any benefits at this stage. Filed. IB. 11-12-09
