Pre match entertainment for Munster home games, National Anthems for the soccer internationals and their TV debut on The Late Late show have made it a very eventful season for the MRSC Choir. But it isn’t over yet!

Performing a piece arranged by their Musical Director, Anita Mahon and accompanied by Arcana, the choir are honoured to be a part of the Opening Ceremonies for the Special Olympics National Games in Thomond Park Stadium on Wednesday June 9th. The Choir will perform “The Arrival of The Flame” as the Olympic Flame is presented to the stadium. Tickets are available for what is to be a unique event on ticketmaster

The bank holiday weekend will be a busy time, as they will be a part of the pre match entertainment at the Ireland v Barbarians match in Thomond Park Stadium. Returning to Cork to perform with The Celtic Tenors, the choir will sing in The Everyman Theatre on Sunday June 6th.

The Choir would like to thank all the supporters through the season who cheered, joined in and enjoyed their performances. Keep an eye on the MRSC website for more information on joining the choir and upcoming events. We look forward to seeing you all again next season.

Munsterism

I know they're [Munster] a team of heart; from where I was, in Auckland, I look at them as similar to the All-Blacks – a small region competing in a big competition and doing well. That was a huge attraction for me
