The 2010 JP McManus Invitational Pro-Am will take place at Adare Manor Hotel & Golf Resort on the 5th & 6th July. The aim of the Pro-Am is to support mid-western charities and groups in their work with the underprivileged and disadvantaged. All proceeds are donated in their entirety towards the development of these services and over €55 million has been raised since its inception in 1990.

Reigning champion, Padraig Harrington, Rory McIllroy, Lee Westwood, Jim Furyk, Dustin Johnson and Ian Poulter are among the Pro golfers that will play in this year’s event. They will be joined by celebrities like Samuel L Jackson and Hugh Grant, and Kyle McLaughlan, who will also play at the Pro Am in Adare.

A record number of overseas and Irish visitors are expected to come to Limerick to enjoy the golf and atmosphere. Spectators can choose from one of eight different coloured “two-day entrance caps” representing Ireland, Munster Rugby and each of the Munster counties. At a cost of €50 for two days entry, they can be purchased from the website on JP McManus Pro Am or at selected retail outlets.
