Junior Membership

You can join as a junior member during the month of October every year.


We believe Junior Membership has given our younger supporters the opportunity to get behind the team in a very united and visible way. We hope that junior membership numbers continue to grow from the current membership of over 1,000 which grew from the 600 members in the first year of Junior Membership.

• You will receive the regular Supporters club Ezine by email, containing fans stories, guest articles, a new Junior Corner, Competitions etc. In addition you will receive email updates of Junior Club Events.
  
• You can vote for the Munster Rugby Supporters Club Player of the Year.
  
• You will receive emails during the year from your Junior Club Captain (Jerry Flannery was captain for 2009), with team gossip.
  <liI> Junior members can also attend our Junior coaching camps at various venues around the province during the year.
  
• In addition you can attend our pre-match functions with balloons, flags, sweets etc., for Junior members, at selected home Magners League games.

Junior Membership for 2010 cost only €25 plus transaction fee

NB: Junior members cannot attend the Supporters Club AGM or EGM, and will not be entitled to vote on any Constitutional matters.

Junior membership is open to those up to the age of 16. Upon reaching 16, Junior Members will be transferred to associate membership at the end of that calendar year.

Following requests from many Munster supporters, who had been anxious to join the Supporters Club, we introduced Associate Membership in the 2004 - 2005 season. Associate Membership gave supporters all of the same benefits as full Members, with the exception of a Heineken Cup ticket guarantee.

Associate Membership forms the waiting list for Full Membership.

• Magners League Season Tickets at attractive discounted prices (subject to availability) [Type of Magners League season ticket (combined v single-venue v none) is a determinant in priority for match tickets]
  
• Priority over public sale for Heineken Cup tickets for away pool games and play off stages. Also priority for any other Munster knock-out match. - NB: Subject to availability.
  
• Access to Members Bar in Thomond Park on matchdays
  
• Full access to our exclusive Discount Scheme which has proved so successful over the past seasons.
  
• 10% discount in online shop of Munster Rugby Store
  
• Special Discount leaflet to allow 20% off any 1 item from the Munster Adidas range from 15th Sept to 15th Oct.
  
• Entitlement to purchase any exclusive garment/product which may be sold by the club during the season
  
• You will receive our weekly Newsletter - Red Letter.
  
• You will receive our regular E-zine Newsletter - Red Alert
  
• Members can vote for the Munster Rugby Supporters Club Player of the Year
  
• You will be able to attend all activities organised by the Munster Rugby Supporters Club. These include Question & Answer Evenings with the players, Quiz Nights, Pre-Match Functions, Meeting points for away matches.
  
• Regular competitions in Red Letter, Red Alert and by email
  
• Priority for Magners League match tickets that may become available
  
• You will be entered once into the Giant Draw operated by the Supporters Club this season. You may wish to purchase additional entries to the Giant Draw by pressing the Purchase Items tab above at any time before the lottery closing date.

Due to the limited allocation of tickets for Heineken Cup home matches available to the Munster Rugby Supporters Club, and the entitlement of a ticket as a benefit of Membership, Full Membership of the Supporters Club is currently closed.

Associate Membership forms the waiting list for Full Membership.

Full Membership was 3,224 from the 2009/10 season.
